I can be crazy, silly, outgoing and VERY artistic. Especially when painting or with, (duh) my camera. I love crazy ideas, themed shoots, and doors. I LOVE DOORS AND THEIR CHARACTER. I'm pretty simple. I am a mother to a beautiful little girl and a wife to an awesome husband. I try to enjoy laugh and capture it with my camera. Most people can't see what I do, and i love capturing those moments that make you laugh, cry or perhaps a bit of both.

Sandy, Greg and (waiting for arrival) Lil' Dawson Penny

Meet Sandy.  Meet Greg.  And that cute belly that is the focus of this session?  That is my (soon to be) nephew.  Dawson Troy Penny.  In the midst of planning her shower, editing other sessions, preparing for a destination wedding in Hawaii this week and receiving the news of my other (little) sister's son being born, God blessed me with the time to photograph my sister in a maternity session.  I gotta say - for one *perty* girl - she makes quite the impression!  Can't wait to meet my lil' nephew in a little under two months and then photograph him in his birthday suit!

And by the way - the beautiful blanket that is used in one (and a few others just not shown) shots was hand made by Melissa from Wee Wants.  Beautiful custom made baby blankets, and she willingly custom made me one for this shoot and as a prop for many other upcoming shoots.  Check her out at http://www.etsy.com/shop/WeeWants
